Custom firmware (CFW) allows you to do many things. you could put ISO/CSO games on you PSP, put custom themes on your PSP, run homebrew, have some cool applications.....endless amounts of things. In this section I will show a video on how to install CFW and ill put some downgraders and stuff for you below.

This is only version 3.52. You can then update to later versions if you wish. You can only install this if you have only have offical sony firmware version 1.50 or a custom firmware version below this like 3.51 or so.

 This is sony firmware downgraders like if you have version 2.50 use the downdater 2.50&2.60 one to downgrade to version 1.50.

This is the way I took to install CFW. It's tricky, but it pays off in the end. What pandora's battery allows you to do is to downgrade ANY sony firmware to 1.50. Sounds cool huh? Well its more complicated than that. What you'll need to do is....open a PSP battery, take out what seems to be a microscopic chip, put the cover back on, and put it in your PSP and your done! Its not that bad...here's a awesome guide to install it.

oh yeah one more thing. I recommened using a sharp knife to open the battery (be careful!).

 Um......ANOTHER thing (VERY important) after you do all of this, your not done. You need to create a magic memory stick. You can do this by using the memory stick you have now, or another one. the guide it here:
